The next three games will define our season...
It really is twist or bust, with three incredibly difficult games coming up. Yet for the first time in many a year I'm believing that we can win all of them, though with the quality we are facing, am doubtful.

Everton, a mid table team but with a lot of talent, and a bogey side. Slav has re-written the Stats Book many times already. Can he manage to do it again?

A resurgent Chelsea. This is the one I'm most doubtful of a result.

Man U (FA Cup) Massive game, and one I certainly think we could get a result out of if we're on the top of our game.

We need to win two out of three of these, at least, to make us contenders. It's going to be very tough - but I'm relishing it.

Collins out for 4-6 weeks. Reid probably not fit for Saturday, may be back for the cup.

Let's see if Oxford,Ogbonna and Henry are up for the battles ahead.

Pity we can't get Burke back.

Next 3 are huge. This week has meant the chasing pack have all picked up points Soton aside.

Think we may be at risk from being 8-10th after the chelsea game, hope Slav has something up his sleeve

Except that Leicester have had better luck (I hope its luck) with injuries.

Ginge is made of steel, he'll be available on Sat and hopefully they can also patch up Ogbonna in time. Otherwise Kouyate can step in with Obiang keeping his place in the middle.

Everton may be mid-table but they score a lot of goals, I reckon a draw at the Toffees followed by back to back wins against Man U and Chelsea.

Did I tell you I've backed us to win FA cup and finish top four at 1479-1???

Re: The next three games will define our season...
Ray Wilkins said on TS today that, bar Leicester, West Ham are the team that no one will want to play right now.

My fear is that the injuries at the back may take their toll and winning at least two of the next three games may be a step too far.

But like Leicester we keep on doing it and regardless of what team we have to put out we should fear nobody.

Huge part of the season coming up which could make Slav a legend and define our history.

COYI.

Any word on injuries? Ogbonna looked okay by the end but things swell.

If both, Kouyate will slot in at the back again

Physically Henry might be close to handling Lukaku physically (at least better than Oxford or Kouyate) it would the rest of his game I would worry about.

Antonio looked really tired by the end. Cresswell threw him self about physically as much as I have seen him for a while.

Interesting times we may just have to out score them.

Re: The next three games will define our season...
Possibly no centre backs, definitely no Byram for next two matches... as a result Everton and Man Utd are going to be such hard matches. Just because of having our defence out injured I wouldn't be surprised to see us lose to be honest. How is Reece Oxford going to do against Lukaku?

But we get Byram back for Chelsea and Reid should be back then if not for Man Utd... so I am more confident about Chelsea.

Would be more bothered with Everton if we were playing them at home.

They're superb away but have a shocking home record this season.

Martinez is as average a manager as there is.

We've still got Henry who looks a decent player. He'd fit in fine I'm sure. Young Oxford did ok too and Reece Burke will be back next season. The future is looking bright.

Everton's always a pain in the arse fixture. But this season and the high that we're on, who knows? As others have said, Bilic has been fantastic at getting the players up for a game against the 'big' clubs, less so against lower opposition. But as he played for Everton, the motivation should be there. Would it be excessively optimistic to predict one win and two draws? I think not.

If Collins and Ogbonna are crocked, we'll do well to get a point.

3 points and a draw in the cup and smash them in the replay

I agree with Stubbo. Expectations seem to be a bit over the top at the moment, which is probably understandable. We're going well at the moment, but we'd still be doing well even if we lost our next three games.

Have we had our full set of strikers fully match fit together at any point this season? We would be right up there with last nights cunts if so. We are as good as anyone

Re: The next three games will define our season...
Tiredness will be a factor V Everton this weekend ....

Everton have extra day to prepare ,

hopefully we have 2 Centre backs fit...
So Kouyate can be relaesed to play in the middle ...

Difficult decisions ahead for Slav this weekend no fear..

Re: The next three games will define our season...
Think we may suffer post"Spurs hangover on Saturday. They get an extra day's rest, we picked up some key knocks. Unfortunately see us losing up there.

Fancy we can sneak a draw against Chelsea as we'll be again well motivated, and should have Reid back...and then who knows with the cup game which despite the league position feels like our big focus from the club's perspective.

Even if we lose all 3, shouldn't forget the forward steps that have been made this season.
